Pengtao Lu

Pengtao received his B.E. in Polymer Materials and Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). After that, Pengtao carried out his M.S. studies at The University of Akron under the supervision of Prof. Stephen Z. D. Cheng. In 2014, he moved to the Pacific Northwest to join the group of Prof. Andrew J. Boydston at The University of Washington, where he investigated polymer mechanochemistry and metal-free ROMP. After receiving his Ph.D in 2019, he came to UT Austin to work for Prof. Zachariah A. Page as a postdoctoral scholar. Pengtao worked on the development of photocages for light based polymerization in the Page Group and in 2021 started as a Senior Researcher at Brewer Science company in Rolla, Missouri.
