Nirvana received a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from California State University Chico in 2021. While at CSU Chico, Nirvana conducted undergraduate research with Dr. David Ball synthesizing known degradants of commonly used pesticides for analytical standards and with Dr. Lisa Starkey Ott synthesizing deep eutectic solvents. She also attended Middle Tennessee State University to complete her M.S. in Chemistry working under the advisement of Dr. Keying Ding. At MTSU, Nirvana completed her thesis in small molecule design and synthesis for applications in organometallics and catalysis. Nirvana is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Chemistry here at UT Austin working with Dr. Zak Page on novel photoinitiators.
