Holden obtained a B.S. in Integrated Engineering (Chemistry Emphasis) at Washington and Lee University in 2023. While at Washington and Lee, Holden conducted undergraduate research under the guidance of Dr. Erin Gray as a 2-Year STEM Research Fellow. In the Gray Group, Holden explored the regioselective, photocatalytic CāH functionalization of target organic molecules. Holden is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at UT Austin under the supervision of Dr. Zak Page with an emphasis on synthesizing new stimuli responsive soft materials.
