Connor received a B.S degree in Biochemistry from Kennesaw State University (KSU) in 2018. Under the guidance of Dr. Michael Stollenz, he started research in organic synthesis and performed photophysical studies of bis(amidine) ligands and their corresponding lithium complexes. He co-founded a student organization at KSU that was awarded an ACS grant for a science outreach program at Title 1 schools in metro-Atlanta. Prior to moving to Austin Texas, he was employed as a lab technician, while also tutoring AP science. Connor is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at UT Austin under the advisement of Dr. Zak Page.
